Get in line

Colours are our fave topic amongst stylists, especially when they're not black! We love the burnt orange cameo from Kirrily Johnston A/W 09 collection. What we love even more is the draping technique and the asymmetrical design lines. Both draping and asymmetry are great for creating illusions on the body and can often hide subtle flaws and let's face it we all have them. As much as we will see tight and structured inspirations this season, there will also be a great abundance of movement and draping from many designer to save the day.

Girls will be boys

Androgyny has been a huge influence in the fashion stakes for a few seasons now and it seems like it is not going away, so we suggest you get into it! We love Jessie Hill's new  winter collection featuring a gorgeous cropped hair model in sharp silhouettes, intricate prints and a touch of romance.

Add more drama to your androgynous look with army boots, studded accessorise and shoulder enhancements. Warning, this look is not for the faint hearted.

Shoe Heaven

Tristan Blair's W09 'Snow Blind' collection is a cocktail of retro, rock and the reckless. The range captures all the latest international trends such as patent, suede, lace, chunky heel and a colour palate of brown, gun metal and grey. The collection also hints salmon hues and Native American Indian motifs.

For those who have not yet added a Tristan Blair shoe to their wardrobe we urge you do as this is one Aussie designer that will soon rise to the top and out of our budget. Not only are TB shoes heavenly they are super comfy.

We at id couture give 10/10 for his latest collection.
