A new season and a new shoe
Nothing does our heart better than the thought of a new season that is waiting just around the corner. So with this blissfull thought in mind we here at id couture are happy to bring you some key trends for Spring. The shoe is such an amazing creation, it has the power to make us weak at the knee or give us the boldness to take on the world. So we are happy to report on what we will be wearing these warmer months.
The Wedge - This style will be quite strong again this season presenting itself in many shades and styles. This option is a great pick for those whom are wanting to add a lift with out having to balance on a slim heel of seasons past. The wedge is worn best with a Maxi dress or works well tied back with a relaxed cotton pant and blazer. In terms of colour we recommend natural, earthy tones and a buckle will complete this look perfectly. For a great selection of Wedges we suggest trying Nine West.
Colour - Whats not to love about the warmer months than the splash of colour we see on the streets. Allow colour t0 be your friend this season, play with magenta, burnt orange and lemon yellow. These burts of colour add a fresh option for the LBD (Little Beach Dress) and allow you to add some personality to your wardrobe. Also remember nude will be strong and works well in the form of a high heel and looks stunning with the silks we will see in eveaning wear. For the perfect colour fix try Steve Madden available at Myer stores nationally. The Sandal - We see the return of this classic once again this season. You could say this style may be your saving grace. The perfect partner for the party season as this example pictured (available at Joanne Mercer) will add just enough drama to the simplest of dresses and also works well with a tailored short. When looking for a sandal remember to choose one with detail such as beading, as this detail will transfrom the look from simple to chic. One last tip, when it comes to shoes remember to be bold with what you wear, as you can tell alot about a girl by the shoe she wears..
