Here at id couture, we have fallen in love with the new jewellery collection by Australian designer Zoe Sernack. Her new range titled "Imago Mortis" - The Dance of Death, references the era of Victorian Mourning jewellery, a period in which personally designed jewellery reflected the times and lives of those whom whore it. The collection consists of carved images made from genuine Buffalo bone and horn. These abstract pieces are truly unique and beautiful to look at.
We admire the fact that each piece from the collection can stand on it's own, or easily be tied back with jewellery from your own dark treasure chest. All in all we like to think that everyone needs something that verges on the dark side. It's a trend that can easily toughen up the sweetest of dresses, or just simply add the finishing touch to your cropped leather bomber and favourite jean.
