Romeo's Closet
Celebrating all things men, the autonomous launch for Subfusco's ‘Romeo’s Closet’ on the 22nd August will be modelled by real men and local talent including Mr Australia. The entertainment will include live jazz, string quartet, street entertainers and installation art by the Damien Brewer. The event is coinciding with Daffodil Day, raising awareness and funds for the Prostate Council Queensland.
Taking place in Howard St Laneway Brisbane, in a traditionaly un-elevated, European format, Subfusco’s launch not only references prominent Italian influences in the styling but indulge the modern-Australian interpretation of what a modern Australian Romeo should wear? Asymmetrical construction, textured fabrics, unconventional tailoring, denims in all shades of blue, accessories and a touch of adrogyny. A selection of original and quoted poetry printed on the t-shirts convey the power of words. Subfusco's Romeo is a modern poet with a unique sense of individual style.
